Party Cancellation
As some of you may
be aware, we recently had to cancel a scheduled party. We were
very disappointed to do so but felt it was the only option
available to us at the time.
Having noticed a high number of guests cancelling their names
from the guest list at the last minute or just not turning up
on the night recently (over a 50% cancellation/drop out rate in
the last month) and as the guest list was not particularly well
subscribed for this party we reluctantly decided to cancel the
event in the interests of those who HAD booked and intended to
attend. We are sorry if this spoiled your weekends plans but
felt if better to do this than have you come along and be
disappointed at the party itself. For those of you who were
affected by this cancellation again we apologise, and would
remind all those who cancel at the last minute or just not
bother to turn up to think about the effect on others before
doing so....

Login Issues
Update
As you may be aware some
members profiles disappeared from our system last week,
resulting in those members not being able to login to their
accounts. We have not yet been able to recover the lost data as
this newsletter went to press but are working hard to rectify
the situation. If your profile has been deleted (you are
getting an error when trying to login) you may wish to create a
'new' profile by clicking the 'join' link on the home page (or
click
HERE ) and just enter the
minimum required fields until we are able to re-instate your
old account. We are really very sorry for this but it is
completely out of our control - something we are keen to ensure
gets under our control for the future to prevent this happening
again.
Gold Membership Upgrades
We have
not yet managed to secure an alternative payment processor
following the dismissal of our account by Nochex, and have not
yet been able to get our webmaster to manually upgrade those
Gold members due for renewal, so as an interim measure
we have asked our webmaster
to make ALL areas of the site (including the GOLD members
areas) available to ALL members until we can get everything
back to normal - We just hope this can be done sooner rather
than latter.

Met and Meddle
Event
We have had a number of requests
to hold a 'Met and Mingle' party where you can come along to
socialise only with other like minded guests, exchange contact
details or arrange to met up at a later date. In addition we have
had requests for a Spring Bar-B-Que party; so we are considering a
combination of the two with the added bonus of running the party on
into the evening for those who wish to take things further and
play! The event would be held on a Sunday afternoon during the
Spring when the weather is hopefully a little warmer. Let us have

Friday and Saturdays parties were quiet by comparison. However this
didn't seem to dampen the atmosphere with many guests saying it was
